 [SIZE=2]<span style="font-family:arial">Short answer is no-not everyone can be a staff member.Most of the mods you see are members who have proven over time that they were capable and mature enough to handle the responsibility of moderating-they were then invited by either myself or Jim,the man who owns this site,to be a part of the moderating team.The STAFF on their name was added to give an extra touch of a professional look (if they wanted it-that bit was completely voluntary). Only other thing I can say is that those who go looking for it rarely ever get it-so I would advise not worrying too much about it.I'm sure some of the mods will have bits to add here so I'll leave it at that.</span>[/SIZE] |

 Well, since the invitation is open and all...  Lyndon is right, none of us asked for it, it just sort of fell into our laps like a nice big unexpected $10,000 check! I certainly never asked for it, and I didn't expect the offer at all!!!!! It was not something that I ever strived for, per sé, all I really wanted was to enjoy the site and give help as much as I could to whomever needed. But, I also paid attention to following the rules!!! (minus one little boo-boo that we won't mention  )The whole purpose of this site is for a bunch of us knuckleheads to hang out together and enjoy our life and gaming experiences, while respecting each others' feelings, and learn from each others' gaming experiences! heh heh heh So, don't you worry yourself about it, all ya need to do is have fun here (within the rules) and enjoy your stays and everything will be just fine!  |
