| Im just wondering about the regular mirc, wouldnt it be cool if we could set up an #API mirc channel :think: Or is my idea totally :swear: up??? |

| The only problem with this is that not everyone likes to download stuff to their computer and many people wouldn't have access to mirc due to firewall restrictions, etc. I think for now it'd be best just to stay with the LiveChat services. Well, i hope that you enjoy posting and have fun gaming. |

| Heres a couple of additional reasons... As the chat service goes offline we will switch to alternative providers. Sadly this seems to be a regular thing with IRC chat. If you stick with the chat on the front page then you will be automatically re-routed... if you try to use external programs you will keep getting lost when we move. Also, I am looking for a cast-iron way to keep non-members out of the chat. The only way to accomplish this is to check they are using the front page and kick/ban if they are not. If lots of members start using external programs this may cause them to get accidentally banned. |
