 [SIZE=2]Happy Mother's Day To All Of Our APi Mom's !!!  [/SIZE] Can't believe that I am the starter for this? What a bunch of inconsiderate men we have here. Now I think that us men should go out golfing  so that the Mom's can spend some quality time with the kids!       |

| Very funny Rex. I've yet to figure out what to get my mom for her belated birthday..but I hope today will be a good resting day for her since she gets exhausted at work and me and my sister wear her out on the weekends. | First off, 'Fankies', as one of the many moms (mum's, if you're English etc.) here, at APi. It was a pure joy, to pop in here and see your lovely sentiment!!!!! Spent my 'Mother's Day'......well, the morning at least.....snug and cozy in bed, with a good book. Enjoyed a most 'unique', breakfast of toast and chocolate chip cookies  And was most jubilant in knowledge, that I didn't have to change a single nappy, nor cook or clean, for an entire day!!!! As for the 'golf' idea.........sure, you could do that? But just remember 'Father's Day isn't too far away. Prehaps all the Women-folk, could go shopping, with your credit cards. And leave the kids behind for some 'bonding' time......perfect opportunity to point out the finer qualities of 'Remote Hogging' and ESPN watching, to the younger members of the family!!!???? hahaha :lol: Happy Mother's Day!!!!! |

 As an APi Mom, I'd like to say 'Thank You!!'  Firstly to Rex, for so aptly putting the greeting in pink, and then to the rest of the group for your warm sentiments!! Quite frankly Rex, I think you had a great idea about sending the men-folk out golfing... could you PLEASE take mine with you!?!?! And, don't forget to lose him in the woods!! :cunning: I had a marvelous breakfast of waffles, bacon, fried eggs and chocolate milk, all lovingly prepared and served by my wonderful son!! We enjoyed our church time, and spent the afternoon watching movies that I like to watch! (He even cleaned up after dinner!!) :disco: All in all it was a very nice day! |
