Well, yes, there were rules but we have decided that there is an easier way to handle this situation. Since most of these problem polls are started by members who are just starting out, if there are any "problem" polls then we will use our better judgement to close them. This will free up some of the more seasoned members who didn't like having to PM staff about a poll. And we don't want them to have to do so because we think that most of our seasoned members can handle posting polls responsibly.
Just remember that when posting a poll, if there can be more than 10 answers to the question you're asking then you shouldn't make it a poll. So, asking what your favorite food is as a poll will not float because of how many different foods there are. Well, i hope that you enjoy posting and have fun gaming.
