Ya know what really fries my snickers!?!? *People who think that their way is the only way!!!! *Who the He!! do these snotty cretins think they are!?!?! *I got online last night just to open up a Diablo II game so Hubby could get into it and do some switching around of items from one character to another... (you need to be in a game of more than one person to do this).... well, for those of you who play the game, you'll know that there are 'gems' to collect, and there are different 'grades' of gems, and if you collect 3 of any kind (except 'perfect') you can put them into the Horodric Cube to transmute them to ONE of the next grade up. *ie: three flawed topazes transmute into one regular topaz. *Well, I've got quite a collection going, so I thought, while I had a game open, I'd check out the stuff I have and see if I missed anything that needed to be transmuted... *and Hubby starts in on me about all the gems I have... has me look at his screen and smugly asks 'How many gems do you see here?' *I say, 'none' and he, ever so haughtily replies 'That's right!!'... as if to say, 'see, this is how you do it!!' *I tried to tell him that it's simply a matter of opinion, and my opinion is that I want to collect them, upgrade them, then use them when I find a good slotted armour. (or shield, or whatever)... and I TOLD him that it's not a matter of 'right' way or 'wrong' way... and he had the nerve to tell me 'No, it's really the only way to play it'!!! *He proceded to tell me about how many people he's played with and what all they have, and I interrupted him with a small explosion, "I don't give a F##k what anyone else does, THEY'RE NOT ME!!!!!" * Geeeeez, what is it with these people who think that their way is THE ONELY way!!?!?!?!?!?!! * * I got news for you people...... *THERE ARE MANY SHADES OF GREY IN THIS LIFE, AND THEY'RE NOT ALL YOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! * * AAAAAGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *shut up and just let others be different, can't you!?!?!?!?!? *I swear, if I were to be more like him like he thinks I should be, I'd have killed him a LOOOOOOONG time ago!!!!!!! *He should be thanking his lucky stars that I'm as different from him as I am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It seems that anyone who plays Diablo II has their own ways of doing things, I have mine, my brother has his, but the thing is, he won't stop bothering me about not picking up every single item, and clearing every single bit of every single area. I would really like to give him a piece of my mind, but I would probably get in trouble if I did, plus, I don't like to yell much.

Yeah, I usually clear the whole map, but I might accidentally leave a tiny bit and he usually says that we should go a billion miles back to where we missed that spot, just to discover that there's nothing there.

But also, I think the main problem is that his mind can't be changed, I mean, I have an uncle that plays Diablo II with one of his friends, whenever we see them and get to talking about Diablo II they also completely disagree with my brother, he just plain won't change his mind. Plus, he is starting to tone down on the picking everything up.

We have finally come up with a system. The basis of it is: Every time we make new characters, we pick which one will be the leader, that person gets to make every decision about gameplay style (within reason). That seems to be working pretty well.

Ok, here is another gripe of mine.

Have you ever tried to contact a business via the telephone lately? Especially any of the utility companies…not only do you have to wait for 10 minutes while they cycle through all the different languages available, trying to talk to an actual person can be a true test of patience (something I'm not known for at the best of times!)

Computer viruses. Why in the h*ll do stupid jerks make computer viruses? Its not funny. Its not cute. So why do they do it? Why would they do something that completely ruins someones schedule because they have to fix this freakin virus that some stupid jack*ss put on there computer. It p*sses me off. *:nono:

Our roof, iceidently over my bed, in my room, started leaking on xmas eve, and of course no good samaritan wud come out then, well fair enuf. It took the guy 2 weeks to get back to us, another week to saw the wood up, then 4 days to fix the bleedin roof!!!!! I wudnt mind but i spent all my days making him flimmin cups of tea!!!!! hed have 2hr breaks for his dinner, what a muppet!!!!!!!! I wudnt mind, but it was dripping over my bed!!!!!

Why is it that people find it amuzing to start rumors about you??? First of all the fact that highschool is made to beat you down and keep on kicking you in the head. Second it gets worse when all the cute girls all know you by one name and that the only name they know you by is from the rumor. Why are people so cruel...

Why is that companies (utilities and services as well as delivery etc) manage to screw things up with great finesse at every conceivable opportunity and then nobody in the company seems to know whose responsibility it is to sort things out? Why is it that it takes about 3 days of phone calls to actually track down that one person who goes – “oh, we seem to have the wrong address / telephone number / name (general poxy stupid mistake), sorry – I’ll just transfer your call” *-aaaarrrrrrrgggggggg no, don’t put me on hold again you bast*rds!

There is, however, one exception to most organisations’ general incompetence:

Taking your credit card details or cashing your cheque!

Why is it that an operational level they couldn’t find their own ass with both hands, but when it comes to taking your money they are 100% efficient – why?

If companies got things right first time around they would probably triple their own yearly profits, so why is such a concept alien to them?

Want revenge on all the junk mail you get? When you get ads in your phone or utility bill, include them *with the payment. Let them throw it away. When you get *those pre approved letters in the mail for everything from credit cards to 2nd *mortgages and junk like that, most of them come with postage paid return *envelopes, right? Well, why not get rid of some of your other junk *mail and put it in these cool little envelopes? Send an ad for your *local chimney cleaner to American Express. Or a pizza coupon to the bank. If you didn't get anything else that day, then just send them *their application back! If you want to remain anonymous, just make sure *your name isn't on anything you send them. You can send it back empty if*you want to just to keep them guessing! Eventually, the banks and credit *card companies will begin getting all their junk back in the mail. Let's let *them know what it's like to get junk mail, and best of all THEY'RE paying for *it! Twice!

Let's help keep our postal service busy since they say
e-mail *is cutting into their business, and that's why they need to increase *postage again!
