No speedie, trainspotting isn't exactly like birdwatching. You see, one actually put spots on the train in trainspotting, and I understand (I haven't seen the film yet) that the spotting is usually done from a bridge as the train passes under, and it's spotted with material produced in the body. Y'know, puke, poop, whatever. The film has been described to me as a "dark movie about heroin addiction". For what it's worth.......
