With the recent problems being encountered by Windows users all across the country, people are begin to ask themselves if windows is a virus. In response to the high demand for an answer to that question a study was done and concluded the following.

1. Viruses replicate quickly.
Windows does this.

2. Viruses use up valuable system resources, slowing down the system as they do so.
Windows does this.

3. Viruses will, from time to time, trash your hard disk.
Windows does this.

4. Viruses are usually carried, unkown to the user, along with valuable programs and systems.
Windows does that too.

5. Viruses will occasionally make the user suspect their system is too slow (see 2) and the user will buy new hardware.
Same with Windows, yet again.

Maybe Windows really is a virus.

Nope! There is a difference!

Viruses are well supported by their authors, are frequently updated, and tend to become more sophisticated as they mature. So there! Windows is not a virus.

Hehehe, another emailed joke!

Nice one, maybe Bill did decide to make his O.S into a virus but was only partially successful cause as you say it has most of the attributes of a virus. Hmmm pity we can't ask the great man himself. Either that or we should send him this in an anonymous email. Now wouldn't that be fun.

very true, for most Windows.

I've said it once & I'll say it again, get Win2KPro, it's the good one.

There is one problem with 2K and that is that it utilizes an NT based interface that many PC games will not work with, making that Windows a bad choice for gamers. Viva las Linux! for my programming and 98SE for other things i do. Well, i hope that you all enjoy posting and have fun gaming.

Yeah, I know about the games, but I've only come across one
good one that dosn't work and that's the first Fallout. All the
best games work fine.

Disclaimer: Your definition of a good game may differ from mine, but that would only be because your opinion sucks.

Well, i'm not even a PC gamer but i just felt that those that are more influenced by others should know that they may be missing out on some games(though not all of them). Personally if no games worked on my OS, i wouldn't be any more or less happy with my OS then i am now. Well, i hope that you all enjoy posting and have fun gaming.
