| Guide to completing the Liquid Sun Urban Ruins Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots mission - Act 1d . A cutscene will play which will introduce you to one of the game's most important side-characters. Drebin is an arms dealer, taking weapons from dead PMCs, then removing ID locks on those weapons so he can sell them to rebels and earn money out of it. He will do the same with Snake and would be willing to undergo a barter system because Snake does not have cash with him. After picking up a weapon the Snake already has, he will take the ammo instead, while the MK.II will take the weapon to Drebin, therefore earning Drebin Points (“DP”) for Snake. Once you have enough points, Snake will now be able to call on Drebin and have weapons unlocked, or purchase new ones, as well as buy ammos and any modifications desired. Meanwhile, it is very interesting that Drebin lowers his prices by as much as twenty percent during Sundays and Wednesdays. So, if you want to make more value on your money, better do your purchasing on the said days. Drebin also gives a friendly gesture by giving you the M4 Custom, an excellent machine gun, and that's all free of charge. Nice indeed. Now that you have control of Snake, get the RPG ammo that is found at the end of the alley just behind you. Then, proceed south as you continue to collect any of the ammo lying around. Climb the stairs and then drop down towards the ledge on the west and then the rubble in the midst of two buildings until you find an RPG, as well as a Dot Sight. Once you found that, take it to Drebin and sell it. After that, you will find a large crack on the wall which you'd have to enter through. Then, crawl under the slightly destroyed floor. If you do not know which way to go from here, use the Solid Eye's night vision mode and you will see footsteps. Follow it. When you get to the north, you will find two soldiers shooting out the window. Knock both soldiers out and get all the ammo you can find before heading east. As soon as you're back on your feet, keep going until the floor on top of you start to collapse, which enables you to reach the area next to that. Then, lean against the wall and make your way across the narrow ledge. After that, make your way down the lower level to the west and down the stairs until a new cutscene starts. If you have any questions about this mission, please ask them below. . |
