| Guide to completing the Nuclear Warhead Storage Building Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots mission - Act 4c Luckily for you, the nuclear storage facility lacks both humans and machines. Hence, you can use your weapons without anyone getting in your way. Then, you'll receive a call from Otacon telling you to proceed through the door at the northern end. Then, Otacon and Snake will reminisce about making use of the secret passage located on the commander's office. As you go back, get in the back of the truck as you pick up the FIM-92A missile launcher and the other boxes of ammo lying around. Then, proceed to the door and try to open it with the switch on the right. However, you will find out that it's locked. Otacon will again call you to say that you must head over to his old office and login there so you can open the door and look through the records on what has transpired on the base recently. You will also get the password to his computer – 48273. Use the stairs to get to the second floor, then get in the elevator. Otacon will call to tell you that he powered the generator, so that you can ride the elevator. Things will then go smoothly as the elevator stars and Snake then arrives to the B2 basement without any difficulties. As soon as you get out of the elevator, Otacon tells you to proceed down the main hallway. You may also take the side office where you can get a few items. Halfway through there, the two will talk about demolishing the electrified floor's switchboard using the Nikita missile launcher. Then Otacon will say something about the switchboard still capable of getting activated once the current is turned on. When you reach the end of the offices, get the iPod song and crawl beneath the desk to get to the main hallway. After that, proceed east and down the corridor where soldiers have been slaughtered by Grey Fox, so you can get to Otacon's office. However, this room is empty but has several items that you can pick up. But you will be asked by Otacon to enter the password he has previously given to Snake. But it hardly even matters whether you remember the password or not because if you do, Otacon will do it for you, although not without him making fun about Snake's memory. But it is important to note that if you enter the codes “78925” or “13462” will get you a new iPod song. Meanwhile, entering the code “14893” will earn you 100,000 Drebin Points! After the cutscene, Otacon tells you to unlock the door and you must go back to the first floor. Do as he says, but take all of the ammo and health items you find in the office with you. When Snake steps on the electrified floor, a Gekko will show up from the ceiling and start to patrol the area. Stay still in non-electrified hallway so you can activate the Mk. III. Then, send it to the hallway and beneath the desk leading to the offices where the switchboard is located. Then, press the action button in order to have the MK. III activate the current and destroy the Gekko. Then, you can walk down the hall and go up using the elevator. If you accidentally destroy the MK.III, Snake will crawl underneath the desk, just trying to avoid the Gekko. However, the Gekko must be at the far end of the hallway before you take the elevator on the way down. In the warhead room, climb over the railing and unto the first floor. The MK.III will open the door but another Gekkos shows up in search of you. And because the door won't be open until after three more minutes, Snake must try to deflect the Gekko's attention and defend the MK.III during this time. This is quite easy though. As soon as the Gekko shows up, make a mad dash towards the southwest corner and look for a machine gun with an ammo that you do not get to use very often, such as the P90. Then, shoot the Gekko to take its attention away from the MK.III. Or you can run in circles until the time expires. If at some point the Gekko wanders to the north door, shoot it some more until it returns. After that, you can knock it down on its legs to give you enough room to run away. Or, you can also try knocking on the walls in an attempt to distract the Gekko without activating any alert. However, it may not be as easy as the previous one and you could get killed in the process, so you must only try doing this if you want to earn an emblem with an alerts limit.
