Default Trouble Watching Movies Online
For some reason I am a cyber medium for my friends.

A buddy of mine is having trouble watching movies on the PS3 from online.

While surfing the net with the PS3 he tried to enter a site to watch movies and he said the PS3 wont play. Is there anything he con download to fix this problem

In all likelihood, no- the PS3 browser is limited somewhat on the movie standards that will play. In the case of those done in flash, the browser is maybe up to Flash 6 (most are done in 9 by now). The only way this sort of thing can be updated is by Sony themselves via firmware updates. Your friend will have to stick to the computer for watching the vids from that site.
