Personally i wasn't a big fan of either of the games but if you want more realism then MC2 is your bag of tea and if you're looking for a great looking game but aren't big into realism then AM would be for you. Auto Modellista is trying to be GT, but it never lives up to that. Neither of the titles are really worth full price so either rent first or buy second or third hand. Well, i hope that you enjoy posting and have fun gaming.

Auto Modillista deserves to be called the most customizeable racing game EVER!!! Although it may not be the most realistic game ever and along with its share of glitches, it is a great first racing game for Capcom. the customization is amazing and there is just so many things to chose from. It is all that i expected the game to be. So to Capcom on their work on Auto Modillista. ![]()

AM is pretty fun single player. Online it licks, due to the fact racers can corner faster by smashing through the corners instead of racing a perfect line. If hitting walls slowed the cars up a realistic ammount online competition wouldnt collapse into a bounce through the corners fest, and might have stayed fun and clean. MC2 isnt all that realistic at all, very arcade style. 50 foot air, jetspeed nitros, mega draft booost. But when it comes to fun factor and good online laughs it is the cats meow out of the 2. I hated the first MC but the sequell is an all out rush to play, just put you GT 3 thoughts away and enjoy it for the type of racer it is. Myself I am hyped to see GT 4 Online reveiled at E3 may 14th (hopeing for HDD support), might pick up MC2 for some laughs and big air, while I wait for the real deal.
