Cool

I was not being clear!! I asked about NY Race. Maybe some of you got mixed up with a different game. When I got a reply saying the game's name was changed to city racer, I searched for it on the internet. I found City Racer.
But it had regular cars! The City Racer(or should I say NY Race) that I am talking about is a futuristic hover car racing game inspired by the movie The Fifth Element!

One more thing.(please answer) why do all the sites (even the official site) that talk about this game say that the release date is 11/23/2001!!! It is way passed that date! I have not seen a single copy or commercial about the game!

Here are the links to show the difference between NY Race and City Racer..

NY Race--->

City Racer--->

Links removed as they contravened the forum rules

Thumbs down

Ok, I have looked and looked and there is no mention of a NY Racer anywhere that i look. The last thing i had heard of the game was that the name had changed to City Racer and imagine me looking and seeing City Racer planned for Summer 2003 release.

So, if you still think that a NY Racer exists then give me details on the game, publisher, developer, and an official site(in PM form). I am very busy with E3 right now so i'm very sorry that it took a whikle to get back but please don't spam to keep this topic on the front page, i do check back pages when i have the chance.

Well, i hope that you enjoy posting and have fun gaming.

I did find the official site for this game-according to a press release I found there it was indeed released at the dates indicated.It is quite possible they decided at the very last minute to hold it back for various reasons (or even decided to scrap the futuristic look altogether and start over from scratch).Considering how some companies are in regards to updating the official sites this may well be the case here.
