ALRIGHT, WHO ALL THINKS THAT THEM PUTTING THE NEW FALLOUT ON PS 2 IS A TRAVESTY, AS WELL AS ITS CHANGE TO 3D AND A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FORMAT?!?!?!!?

It's not a travesty.It's a way to make a quick buck with a known title.Deal with it.

Besides, the makers of Fallout 1 & 2 left interplay long ago and founded Troika studi's so it doesnt matter anymore.

If all games in a series is the same game and the developer doesn't try something different then there's no point in making games. I think that it's a good idea to make it into a Strategy Action RPG. It is also looking to be a pretty darn good game so i wouldn't complain. The game industry is about trying to make a game that will sell so obviously R&D had something to say about making it into an Action title in full 3D. Basically, you should always hold back on what you think of a game until you get a chance to play it yourself because if you decide before you play it that you don't like it then you may cause yourself to miss a game that you'd love. Well, i hope that you all enjoy posting and have fun gaming.

Previews are all based on one person's feelings on a game they've actually had the chance to play. No one can truly know how they'll like a game until they play it.

P.S. Please stop using all caps for some words as it's classified as shouting and in a forum setting isn't nice. If you don't refrain from using them then we will have to start deleting posts without warning(since this is your warning).

This is a forum and the setting is determined by how members treat each other. It is a well known fact that all caps is meant to be shouting. Using it in moderation isn't all that bad though. Just remember not to always use them because it will annoy some people and we don't want any of that. Well, i hope that you enjoy posting and have fun gaming.

You can't judge a book buy its cover, you can't judge a game by it's preview.

A preview is meant to give you a sneak peek at what a future title is going to be like, not what it is.

I have seen previews for games that I thought for sure that I would get and previews for games that I was sure that I would run away from, I changed my mind with both of them.

Give it a chance.

I never really liked strategy games on the ps2 but then again i never tried fallout...or am i confusing the game with something else. Neverthless i've seen fallout before, i just dont remember how it looks like :doh:

Unless you're a hired game tester for Interplay or even maybe Vivendi, Da_Pusher, then you haven't beta tested the game. Only online games have open betas that developers require extra help with.

Darkraven, Fallout was a strategy game for PC but Interplay is turning it into an Action RPG with strategy elements. The upcoming console Fallout will be 3rd person and for extra info on the game then go to the Latest News forum and do a search for the Fallout game.

Have Da Pusher don't diss strategy.They are some of the best titles out there.And as madhtr said there is no way you could play the beta of the title and anyway there is a big difference usually between beta nd the actually title
