Because of my current age and interests, my circle of friends have decided to institute a mandatory game night. Our only problem is that we can't find good multi-players that don't use split screen. Right now our top game is NHL 2003, fun fast and no split screen. We've tried Timesplitters 2, but even though I have a very large TV and the S-video connection, playing 4 players just doesn't cut it. Not to mention fighting games, whoever owns it ends up slapping the crap out of everyone else. If any of you remember a quiet release for PS1 called Blast Chamber, that's the type I'm looking for. My click just started into the multi-player thing and none of us have a clue what's available... Please help

Well there is the worms series on ps1 thats quit good and it's hillarious! :woot: Worms world party is the best and it only costs about £10. I don't know how much that is in dollers but hey! The other worms games are good as well but on these you can't change the worms vocies to australian and robitic and stuff like that. In cas you don't know what worms is it's a battle game where you have to blow each other up and it's the last team left standing wins! Also theres this other game called hogs of war wich is good and it's another war game! But its funny, It will probably please your friends! :woot:

You could try Gauntlet Dark legacy it's old but pretty good. Also if you have the PS1 multitap Gekido for PS1 is good 4 player action.

Party games eh? If you can find it, 'Bishi Bashi Special' for PSone is the definition of a party game. It's really no good single-player, but get a friend around and you'll love it. I think it's only 2 players though so you'll have to take turns ![]()

SmackDown: SYM is a really fun multiplayer game even for people who don't like wresteling. I know that me and my friends have had hours of fun playing and most of my friends don't really like wrestleing. And there's no spilt screen.

Multiplayer games! I have quite a few your friends may like. Wrestling games usually have it on the same screen. And boxing games usually have it on the same screen. Football games have only one screen as well as baseball. Gran Turismo 3 has split screen but it is really fun to play. Thats all I can think of right now, good luck!

If you really want loads of multi-player, opt for a Gamecube with Super Smash Bros melee or Super Monkey Ball 1&2, but I don't think that you would get a Gamecube for that reason alone. You could try Def Jam Vendetta, as its new so no1 will have mastered it yet! :cunning:

The wresling games, specificly Smackdowns, have to be the best 4 player no split screen. unk:" class="inlineimg" /> But anyways how big is your TV? I have a 27 inch (also known as the poor mans big screen ) and none of my friends complain about it.

My TV is a 32" V-Flat. When you chop that up into 4 squares for some muti-players you lose resolution and depth. Games like GT A-spec and other racing games really can only be played in 2 player. If you try a 4 player game, you lose the depth needed to prep for turns. Not to mention we're a bunch of old schoolers. So our eyesight isn't quite as peachy keen as you young swell kiddos. And everyone seems to be suggesting Wrestling games... Is that not a fighting game? Ergo, whoever owns it, OWNS it.
