 This guy I know is telling me all bout this new handheld, the GamePark 32. I've got a website link, but I havn't heard anything about it up until now. Apparently it's features are.... Large hi-res screen, 8Meg RAM & Mega powerful 133MHZ ARM CPU!! Uses standard Smart Media - totally open source console. Plays MP3's, DivX movies, AVI, Wav etc. Emulates NES, SNES, Sega, Spectrum, Aracde, Atari ST, GB, PCEngine etc. Can play many PC games Eg. Doom, Hexen, Monkey Island series, lucasarts games... Comes with Linker kit + Software - connects right to your PC out the box! Includes CD packed with emulators & games for the GP32. Takes 2 AA batteries for 10+ hours play. I just think it's dodgy. It's a handheld that plays ROMS from a few different systems, if i'm not mistaken, that's somewhat illegal? And it's from Korea. Enough said. The guy is gonna buy one and I just don't trust it.  I haven't heard of it and for good reason. Emulator's sold outright as such are illegal. It's only legal to use an emulator for games that you currently have in your possession and you can only keep it on your computer for a certain length of time. So, this Gamepark 32 sounds a little dodgy because it is. Well, i hope that you enjoy posting and have fun gaming. |
