I've been waiting over a year for her return, and they popped her out early. I wonder if perhaps they should've waited even longer. I've already found a few glitches. There are some points in which it appears to bog down and the motion goes into slow-mo. I could understand if there was a lot going on, but this happens when it's just Lara running around. All of her motion is with the left analog stick which takes some getting used to. Also for some reason they've reversed her jump and roll buttons, which has led so some frustration. Other than that, it's true to Tomb Raider gaming. If you are a fan of the series you will most likely enjoy it. If you're not, then so far I've found nothing earth shattering that will convert you.

i think it was because she gained alot of weight. It took her a while to burn it off and get back into shape. :woot: sorry that was uncalled for. Ive played some of the other tomb raider games but they got kind of dull after the second one and to tell you the truth i just think there are much better third person shooters out there.

Finally got the new Tomb Raider game this past weekend! It seemed to move along a little slow at first (or perhaps I was just getting used to the controls) Anyways, now that I've gotten a little further in the game I think it's pretty good. The Parisian Ghettos were a bit tedious although The Serpent Rough has nice graphics (Look at all the pretty lights) JDM is right about the slo-mo glitches although it doesn't happen that often and so far hasn't caused any problems (so far) All in all it is Lara and so far has been what I expected. I'm sure the action will heat up deeper into the game. I haven't been able to go a day without playing it since I got it so I figure that's a good barometer on whether or not I like a game! eace:

Hi Guys (and Gals!) I must admit I've only had Tomb Raider for a week - I asked "my contact" in the video Games store what he thought, as I'd heard mixed messages about this one. I have all the other incarnations and have spent countless hours of my life on them. Well, he said it was the best ever, and I agree! A word of warning though, for the Guys - sorry, she has more clothes on than last time, and for the Girls (who have other things to do besides playing games) stick with it. The controls are a bit fiddly at first but once you get the hang of it it's well worth the trouble. Well done Eidos!
