Looks like the Tokyo Game Show, Japan's biggest videogame expo running September 22-24, will be kicking off in a big way for Sony fans. It's been confirmed that Ken Kutaragi, Sony Computer Entertainment President, will be delivering a keynote address at the show.

The address is entitled "The next-generaton as created by the PlayStation 3". It's expected some big news will be laid out here as this will be approximately 2 months before the reported worldwide launch. Some will recall when Nintendo president Satoru Iwata presented the kickoff address last year and his reveal of the Wii controller.

Square-Enix president Yoichi Wada will also be addressing attendees focusing on the problems and challenges facing the game industry. Other speeches will focus on MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online) and mobile gaming along with an address by Epic Games' Jay Wilbur and Mike Capps, who will be talking about the Unreal Engine 3.

This year's TGS is being considered one of the biggest ever and record numbers for attendence by consumers and industry insiders is expected.
