The Darkness is a comic book in the Top Cow line and also a game due out in early 2007 for both the PS3 and the XBox 360. In an interview lead designer for the game, Jens Anderson, has a few things to say when looking at both systems.

According to Anderson the 360 may have a lead now in regards to an installed user base but he sees the PlayStation 3 overcoming that and taking the number 1 spot back. He also feels that by early next year the 360 will have "a pretty good slot coming out".

later in the interview he mentions being unsure how they would scale the game to the PS3's 1080p resolution and figures they will make the resolution the same on both consoles to have a consistent look/feel (which was the original intention anyway).

One plus for PlayStation 3 owners is while the game won't be that diferent from its counterpart on the XBox 360 there will be lots of extra space on the Blu-Ray disc- this makes a good possibility for extra content (extra stages, bonus unlockables, etc.).
