Some gamers in the UK and Europe were thrown into a tizzy thanks to reports on several European web sites. Thanks to their reporting of statements accorded to Ken Kutaragi the rumor mill started thinking the lack of PS3 units for Japan and North America might spell a further delay for the UK/ European launch. Instead of March 2007 it was thought the new date would be May 2007.

Now, before you start going "NOOOOOOOO!" and saying some words best left not, a Sony rep has already come foward and said the rumor is only that- a rumor. The European launch is still set for March 2007.
