Default PS3 - Name Change For Jaffe's Latest

The man behind the God Of War games posted in his blog yesterday they have changed the name of Criminal Crackdown, the downloadable game he is developing for the PS3. The decision was made to avoid potential lawsuits and give the game a more appropriate feel.

"Sony likes to give us as much room as possible between our game names and other game names which is nice. But challenging as well because there have been ALOT of video games made over the last 30-35 years," blogged Jaffe. So, they grouped together for a brainstorming session to get a new name. At one point Jet Moto was suggested- needless to say, that didn't fly.

Other suggestions made were "Crazy Crooks," "Robber on the Run" and "Felony Frenzy." Nobody could agree on any of those. Finally, one of the developers Jaffe refers to as Adam suggested "Calling All Cars". This one stuck.

Now we know the official name is Calling All Cars. Jaffe thinks this makes a better fit than his original choice and I'd have to agree.
