With the sad news that there will be no more US Official Playstation magazine over State's side, here in the UK Future Publishing has released there first Official issue of PlayStation Magazine. Now just before you jump to say is it the UK Official Playstation 3 magazine it's a case of yes & no. It's just simply called "PlayStation Official Magazine - UK" and in the first issue (out now £4.99) it covers everything you can think of to do with the PS3 and has sub sections to for the PSP & PS2. Reading through it I got the feeling that this magazine was constructed & ready for print months ago before Sony Dropped the bombshell on the European market delaying the PS3 till March 2007. No cover disc with this issue (PS2 or PS3), but it is building up for the European release of the PlayStation 3 and comes in a rather stylish collector's packaging.

Future Publishing are still continuing to publish OPS2M and no plans to merge the 2 publications as yet (like what they did with OPSM & OPS2M)
