Polyphony Digital has decided to cancel Gran Turismo HD. They are instead going to work towards putting out Gran Turismo 5. The work put into GTHD isn't completely lost, however- they plan on releasing a collection of downloadable GTHD Concept Editions, which will be free demos of GT5. The first demo is scheduled for December 24 (merry Christmas racing fans) with one course, 2 routes and 10 cars to choose from to give an idea as to what to expect graphically in the game. There will also be online leaderboards to see how you stack up against the rest.

A future download will feature a next generation driving engine- no date has been set for it as of yet.
