A couple of additions were made to the PlayStation Store on the PS3 recently- another PSOne classic game for play on the PlayStation Portable and a game that first appeared on the PSP but has now received a facelift for play on the PS3.
First up is Jumping Flash!, one of the first games to launch with the original PlayStation. People took control of Robbit, a bunny shaped robot, in a first-person-view platformer originally made by now-defunct developers Exact. As you went around the levels collecting jetpods you also had to defeat enemies using various weaponry found throughout the game. One of the big drawsof this was the sense of height you had- Robbit could triple jump to heights that towered above the levels by seemingly hundreds of feet. This game is $5.99 US/ $6.99 Canadian.
Also available now is GripShift, a hybrid stunt driving/ platform action driving game with enhanced high-def graphics and enhanced gameplay. Players have their choice of six vehicles and can race in a total of 125+ new and remixed levels and 25 tracks. besides the single player experience you can also race online against up to 3 other players. The full game is $9.99 US/ $10.99 Canadian and there is a free demo available for download for people to check out before making the purchase. The original GripShift received reviews ranging in the 7 to 8 out of 10 range on the PSP and some awards so this may well be worth checking out.
