Incog's Dylan Jobe, Game Director for upcoming game Warhawk, says they are in talks with Sony regarding the possibility of having a public beta test of the game. What this means (for those unfamiliar with the term) is regular players such as us could be invited to test the game out and report back on any glitches that may be still in the game.

Jobe feels the beta could be beneficial to the developers as it could double as a demo for the game and give the servers the game will run on a serious stress test to make sure they can handle the demand. he also comments that because Warhawk will be a downloadable it shouldn't be priced the same as a full game.

Hopefully the beta will go through- if it does we will report it as soon as possible with details on how to maybe get in on it.
