No, I don't mean some legal trouble for the developers of the Hot Shots Golf series. Clap Hanz, makers of the series, are trying their hands at another sport and bringing it to PlayStation 2 owners later this year.
Known as Minna No Tennis in Japan, the game has been performing extremely well in that region. Sony has decided to bring the series to North American shores under the Hot Shots name. The game should be on shelves this July for a price of USD $29.99.
The game will feature 14 playable characters, five umpires, 11 locations, and a variety of court surfaces. In addition to playing up to four players in head-to-head doubles matches, gamers can play the single-player challenge mode or just work on their game in a training mode.
