The PS3 comes to South Korea on June 16 this year but with a slight difference- more hard drive space.

The PS3 in that region will come with an 80 GB hard drive instead of the 60 GB found in most of Europe and North America. This will be the only version available to this country. The retail price will be KRW 518,000 (EUR 412).

Some have been asking around different sites whether this version will be made available elsewhere. According to Sony the answer for now is no. In an interview with the newspaper Washington Post spokesperson Satoshi Fukuoka said, "At this time there are no concrete plans [to sell the model in other markets].

"However," he added, "It could be an option to introduce it in other regions but it needs to be decided by each region."
