There has been an update to the PS3 system software released today.
This update is only for the European and Australian PS3's.
It contains all the updated features that came with version 1.80, but also includes the following:

Settings -
- The method of setting [RGB Full Range (HDMI) under [Display Setting] has been improved.

Other -
- The stability of the network connection has been improved for certain PS2 format software titles that support online gaming.

To download the Version 1.81 (for EU or AUS) go to PS3 Firmware 1.81 and follow the instructions on downloading, and using, the firmware.
