The Sound, And Graphics Ane Great And Realistic. The Game Play Is Somewhat Hard At First, But Over All This Game Is One Of My Favorites" | Graphics 11/20 Playability 43/50 | Sound 9/10 Lastability 20/20 | 83% | Last updated on 2002-03-24 and based on views after owning/playing for approx 52 days.
| | | | | | Joakim Tarnstrom "I Agree With The Other Reviews But They All Forget To Mention One Aspect That Will Kill The Game For Some People - The Fake Ai. They Always Come Back From Way Behind And You Can Always Catch Up Even If You're Far Behind Due To A Fall Or Two. That Render Most Laps Almost Meaningless To Drive. You Can't Pull Away, So Why Bother, And You Can Always Recover So The Quality Of Your Ride Doesn't Bear Any True Meaning To The End Result. A Pity. The Game Has All The Other Ingredients To Be A True Classic." | Graphics 11/20 Playability 33/50 | Sound 8/10 Lastability 11/20 | 63% | Last updated on 2002-03-06 and based on views after owning/playing for approx 1 days. | | | | |
| | | | | Badboy 3223 "When I First Played This Game I Layed It On A Demo Disc And I Was Dissapointed Because The Demo Gave You Only 1 Level And It Was Almost Imposible To Come In First. But After That I Rented The Game And Found Out That The Game Is Alot Better Than The Demo. The Tracks Are Alot More Fun. You Get A Feel Of Freedom In The Game. And The Grapics Are Also Good. The Way You Have To Level Out Your Atv Is Also A Very Realalistic Affect To The Game. And Also The Game Isnt Easy. I Tryed About 10 Times On One Level Only To Come In 2nd To Get The Next Level In The Season.
Atv Offroad Fury Is A Great Ps2 Game And Is Great Classic Game." | Graphics 15/20 Playability 48/50 | Sound 9/10 Lastability 18/20 | 90% | Last updated on 2002-01-19 and based on views after owning/playing for approx 7 days.
| | | | | Michael Angelus "When I Purchased My Ps2, I Had The Option Of Buying It With Or Without Atv Offroad Fury. Luckily, The Decision Was Not Wholly Mine, Or I Might Have Made A Mistake In Passing Over This Game To Save A Few Bucks.
The Game Is Very Good, And Surprisingly Addictive. I Found Myself Locked Over The Console For Hours, Hammering Away Slowly At The Pro Career, While Neglecting Some Of The Other Games That I Had Purchased. The Controls Are User-friendly, The Plentiful Stunts Are A Riot And Welcome Diversion From The Competition Of The Pro Career, And The Soundtrack Is Truly A Credit To The Design Team. The Game Physics Are Solid, And The Atv (and Sometimes Rider) React Realistically After Rebounding From A Crash.
The Game Is Not Without Its Weak Spots, However, And These Should Not Be Overlooked. The Vibration Function Is More Distracting Than Engrossing, The Visuals Seem To Be Not Yet Quite Up To Par With The Capabilities Of The System, And The Control Is Occasionally Slightly Wonky, Usually When You Least Expect Or Welcome It. The Analog Controller Adds Nothing To The Experience, And I Quickly Began To Ignore It All Together. The Player Injury Animations Are Mediocre And Become Tiresome After The First Few Viewings, And The Lack Of Crash Damage On The Atv And Surroundings Is Slightly Disappointing And A Surprising Oversight On The Developer's Part.
Don't Let These Discourage You Though. The Game Is Addictive And The Gameplay Solid Despite The Flaws, And Many Pleasant Hours Of Solid Gameplay Will Be Ekked Out Of This Engrossing Title. I Have Owned This Game For Six Days On The Day I Wrote This, And Despite The Hours I Have Spent On It, There Is Still Much I Have Not Accomplished On The Game. Opening All The Tracks Will Be A Daunting Task, But If The Gameplay Remains Solid, I Have No Doubt That I Will Follow Through On It.
Out Of 10 Possible Points, I Would Be Comfortable Giving This Title An 8. Lots Of Fun, Only Minor Bugs, Good For Beginners But It May Not Hold The Interest Of Experienced Off-road Racing Veterans... Or Maybe It Would. As A Newbie And In The Meantime, Just One More Lap, Fire Off A Triple Combo Stunt, And Then..." | Graphics 11/20 Playability 43/50 | Sound 9/10 Lastability 18/20 | 81% | Last updated on 2002-01-10 and based on views after owning/playing for approx 6 days.
| | | | | Wade V. Corbeil "The Awsome Graphics That Are Presented To The Player Of Atv Offroad Fury Are Matched Only By The Truely Fantastic Gameplay.
Regardless If You Like To Roam Around The Hills & Valleys Doing Brodies And Practicing Your Freestyle Jumps, Or Compete In Actual Racing Competition, Atv Offroad Fury Feels And Handles Almost Like The Real Thing.
You Can Almost Feel Your Teeth Chatter As You Land Hard, And Your Body Just Wants To Lean Into The Turns As You Round The Corners.
The Vibration Control Works Perfectly While Not Being Overused, With Simple Yet Effective Controller Functions.
This Is A Winner By All Accounts. Walk…no, Run Out And Get This Awsome Game!" | Graphics 15/20 Playability 48/50 | Sound 9/10 Lastability 20/20 | 92% | Last updated on 2001-08-19 and based on views after owning/playing for approx 52 days.
| | | | | Jo Hughes "Wow... Now This Is What I Bought My Ps2 For. The Graphics Are Brill And The Full On Racing Action Is Amazing.
At Last A Game Worth The Money On The Ps2.
