This Is Not A Good Game And There Is Only One Reason For This: Repetitive Game Play. You Can See The Entire Game In Under An Hour. Sure You Can Play On, But What Is The Point. There Are No Missions To Accomplish, No Story To Follow, Just Pick Up A Customer And Plonk Him Down Again.
On The Upside, The Graphics And Sounds Are Great, But I Think This Is Inconsquental When The Gameplay Is So Repeditive. So Many Games These Days Have This Flak, Great Looking, But Nothing Really Under The Hood Once You Explore.
The Driver Games On Ps One Were A Lot Better Than Crazy Taxi. They May Not Have Looked As Good, But You Could Play Them For Weeks. I Played Crazy Taxi For 3 Hours, Got A B License And I Don't Feel Compelled To Try For An A.

When I Turned On The Game, I Got A Very Comfortable Feeling With The Easy Interface, And Got Into The Game Very Fast.
One Problem Was As Soon As I Got Into The Game, The Car Wouldn't Go.. For At least 30 Seconds.. Until I Pressed R1.. Which Was Extremely Weird for A Driving Game. I Found This To Be The Only Minor Glitch In The Game, Though Their Is The Solution Of Having An Alternate Control Type (b).
This Game Is Amazing In Everyway, Its Fun, Intense, And Most Of All.. Its A Perfect Conversion From The Arcade.. So If Your On A Big Tv.. Ull Feel Right At Home :).

This Game Is A Must Have Game For Anyone Who Owns A Ps2. You Drive Around 2 Different Cities Like A Madman (or Woman) Taking Comstomers Where They Want To Go In A Certain Amount Of Time. Crash Into Cars, Fly Off Jumps And Even Drive Underwater, This Game Sure Lives Up To Its Name.
The Graphics Are Nicely Done, Though There Is Some Pop-up, But Thats Not As Big A Deal Some May Think. For The Most Part Though The Game Moves Along A Very Nice Rate Of Speed.
The Music And Sound F-x Are Done Very Well, Also. People Scream As They Run Out Of Your Way, Customers Yell At You To Take Different Routs To Where They Want To Go, And Give You Praises And Put Down Depending On How Fast You Get Them Where They Want To Go.
The Controls Feel A Little Odd At First As You Relize That You Are Using The Shoulder Buttons To Gas And Brake. Once You Get Used To This Odd Control Style Though, It Actually Feels Good To Play Like That. And For Those Of You Who Just Can't Get Used To This Type Of Control, There Is A Secondary Control Option That Lets You Use The X Button As Gas.
Over All This Game Is Just Great, And It Has The Added Bomus Of A Mode Called Crazy Boz. In This Mode You Have To Complete All Kinds Of Crazy Chalanges, Which Are Both Tough And Entertaining. Again This Is A Must Have Game." | Graphics 11/20

| | | | | | David Eckert "This Game Is The Kick-assingest Ride Ever! I Own The Dc Version, But Have Rented The Ps2 Version. It Plays The Same. Both Versions Rock! The Only Major Differences I Have Found Were That The Handling Of The Car Is Different Between The Two Controllers On The Two Platforms, (easier For Me On Dc, Because My Hands Have Gotten Accustomed To It.) And That They Changed All The Voices For The Ps2 Version! The Old Voices Were (correction, Are) Much Better Suited For The Game, Imho. The Voices Are Made Up For By The Insane Killer Action And Big Money That You Get From Playing.
