Stephen Burrows  "Dropship Is Not The Kind Of Game That Offers Instant Playability, I Found The Controls Clever But Rather Complicated, Just The Shoulder Buttons Control Weapon Selection, Elevation, Your Rudder And Target Selection. If You Don`t Like Using The Analog Sticks Your Rather Stuck As The Controls Take Up Both Sticks, Having Said That With Practice It All Becomes Second Nature, Like Other Flight Simulators I`ve Played. One Of The Games Best Factors Is The Combination Of Driving Tanks Armoured Assult Veichles And Piloting All Kinds Of Aircraft Including Fighter Planes And Assult Class Dropships For Deploying Troops. The Mission Structure Is Exelent, An Average Mission Involves Several Completely Different Objectives Like Destroying Target Buildings, Disabling Sam Defences, Deploying Troops In A Different Terrorist Base While Providing Them Air Cover And Finally Picking Them Up Again And Deploying Them Back In Your Base. I Find The Graphics Fuctional But Bland. But The Background Music And Explosions Sound Exellent.the Game Only Has Twenty Missions But They Are Rather Long And The Majority Of Them Are Quite Fun To Play Although The Early Missions Are Quite Boring, But I Still Highly Reccomend This Game As Long As You`re Not Hoping For An Instant Pick Up And Play Title, But Overall It`s A Very Polished Pakage."

What was your overall verdict on this game:
Very Poor - an embarrassment to the console
Nothing spectacular, but still functional
Quality visuals that clearly show the power of this machine
Graphical masterpiece that is amongst the best currently available
Pushing the visual capability to it's absolute limit
This game has graphics that were never thought possible on this console

Makes little use of the CD capacity and audio hardware
Functional sounds that compliment the on-screen action
Quality atmospheric sounds that are highly effective
Music and effects that greatly enhance the overall enjoyment
Sounds like this were never thought possible on this console

PLAY-ABILITY (The way the game actually plays)
No fun to play, control is bad, gameplay lacks ideas
Offers moderate enjoyment but lacks a reason to play regularly
Quality title that has all the features you would expect
Top-notch title with nearly flawless gameplay
Little room for improvement and the best game of its type
Introduces new gameplay aspects not thought possible for this console

Wouldn't even buy for your worst enemy
Life-span would be a short rental period
Recommended purchase which should offer a weeks enjoyment
Has the potential to still be played regularly weeks from now
This will remain a popular game in your collection for months
You will enjoy playing this game occasionally even years from now
