Title: FantaVision   Developer: Sony   Type: Puzzle Fun Kids
Absolute PlayStation2

"Ohhhh….ahhhhh….whoa!!!! These are generally the sounds that people generate while kicking back and watching a spectacular fireworks display. Fantavision is a puzzle game that simulates fireworks in a sort of upside down version of Missile Command. It is actually quite refreshing to see that so early in the consoles life a somewhat quirky title is getting released…bravo!"

Michael Restivo  "Fantavision's 2-player Mode Is What Really Makes This Game A Winner. My Buddy Tony And I Love It And Often Have Repeated Battles That Wage Until 4 Am! The Only Drawback Is That The The Learning Curve Is Quite High And I'd Imagine That Most People Wouldn't Spend Enough Time With The Game To Learn Some Successful Techniques. I Completely Disagree With Anyone Who Argues That Winning In The 2-player Mode Is Just About Jiggling The Control And Hitting Buttons, And I'd Wager That Manic Button Pressing Will Lose To My Tactics And Careful Thought Every Time. I Should Know; I've Beaten Those Button-junkies With The Final Score Being 999-200 (or Worse)!

The 1-player Mode Is Fun For A Little While, But Only In The 2-player Mode Does This Gem Really Sparkle."

Danny  "Ah, It Tries Hard, Bless It's Little Heart, But It Just Can't Be One Of The Best Games.

Ok, So It's Fun To Watch And It's Great Fun For Kids, And The Graphics Are Cool, But You Have To Admit That It Gets A Bit Dull After A Week Or So.

The Controls Are Simple Enough To Master And Get The Hang Of,so You Spend More Time Playing The Game Than Getting The Controls Sorted, Unlike A Lot Of Other Games (references Shaolin, Tekken, Soulblade To An Extent)

If You See This In The Shops, I'd Advise You To Buy It If You're Into Games Like Music And Babyworld. Otherwise, Prehaps You Should Give It A Miss."

Norm Kilsor  "This Was The Very First Playstation 2 Game I Bought And Was Fantastic For A Week Or Two. Even My Wife Loved This (and She Hates Videogames) As It Was Quick And Easy To Get Into, While Tricky To Master In The Later Levels.

The 2 Player Mode Looks Like A Rush-job As You Can Win Just By Jigglying Your Thumbpad And Hitting The Fire Button."
