One Severe Let Down Was The Player Face Templates, They Seem To Only Focus On The Really Well Known Household Names Which Is A Disappointment.

Playing The Game However, Is A Much Different Story. Fifa 08 Is Basically A Version Of 07 With All The Bugs Fixed, And Playing Strategies That Correlate Very Well With A Real Life Situation. The Players Move So Much More Realistically (even The Players Have Running/kicking/etc Postures That Are Identical To Real Life. Ie Beckhams Signature Crosses Look Very Similar To The Way He Crosses In Real Life, Peter Crouch Really Uses His Height Advantage For Headers Unlike 07 Where A 3ft Person Had The Same Height Ability As A 7ft Person. Players Psychology Is Also Incorporated Very Well In This Game. When Playing Liverpool Ull Notice Steven Gerrard Frequently Taking Long Distance Power Shots. You Will Notice Ronaldinho And Ronaldo Do Their Fancy Moves, You'll Notice Beckham Making Amazing Crosses. This Game Is Purely A Perfection Of Fifa 07, And More. You Would Think The Graphics Are The Same, But When I Tried Playing 07 2 Weeks After Playing The New 08, I Realized A Tremendous Difference. Additionally, Fifa 08 Is A Much Harder Game To Master Than 07. It Only Took Me A Week To Be Able To Play Comfortably At World Class Level In Fifa 07. It Is Now My Third Week With 08 Playing Hours Everyday And I Am Still Losing At Least 50% Of My Games Playing Professional (even With Their Goalie Set At Amateur!).
With The Game Engine That Ea Sports Have Used For This Game, I Believe That It Has Reached Its Point Of Saturation. I Expect Fifa 09 To Be Something Special, A Transition Much More Dynamic Than From Fifa 07 To 08. In My Opinion, The Ps2 Is Getting Old, And The Graphics On The Ps2 Is Probably At Its Limit Now. Get The Ps3 And Take Advantage Of Its Superior Gameplay/graphics, Or Get The Pc Version Of The Game, Ensuring Your Pc Is Top Notch. In My Opinion, The Fifa 09 Version On Ps2 Will Simply Be Similar, With Minor Improvements And Simply Changes In The Players' Stats And Teams." | Graphics 11/20
