Some Of The Best Features Are The Use Of Cell Shaded Style Graphics, And The Music Is Great (especially On Maze Of Memories Level).
There Is No Boring Parts To The Game, As You Are Constantly In Magical And Mysterious Lands, From Stormy Seas, To Strange Memory Lands Of Mirrors.
I Highly Recommend Anyone To Get This Game, It Is A Great Choice!" | Graphics 18/20 Playability 43/50 | Sound 10/10 Lastability 20/20 | 91% | Last updated on 2007-04-22 and based on views after owning/playing for approx 52 days.

If Your Looking For An Almost Imposible Game This Is Not It. Its Just Hard Enough To Keep You Sucked Into It And The Storyline Holds You Even More. Plus They Only Speak In Japanese - Dosent Get Any Better Than That. Of Course, They Give You The Subtitles. All In All, I Would Definetly Recomend This Game For Any Age." | Graphics 7/20 Playability 48/50 | Sound 9/10 Lastability 20/20 | 84% | Last updated on 2007-03-18 and based on views after owning/playing for approx 2 days.
| | | | | Adam Bollands "Klonoa 2 Is A Platform Game Similar To The Likes Of Pandemonium And Crash Bandicoot Because It Is A Side-scrolling Platform. It Is Not Like Spyro Where You Can Go Anywhere In The 3d World.
On The Intro Movie It Shows Klonoa Apparently In A Dream World With A Very Strange Voice Talking To Him. Suddenly He Appeared To Come From Under The Sea Or From The Sky And Land In The Sea (you Can’t Tell). He Was Followed By An Aeroplane And Then He Got Washed Up On A Monster Infested Island. It Is A Cartoon Game And Klonoa Is A Black And White Cat. His Main Features Include A Big Blue Hat And Very Big Ears, Which You Can Use To Glide With During The Game.
Some Of The Graphics Are Excellent But Others Look Terrible For Example Most Of The Monsters During The Game Look Like Space Hoppers With A Face Painted On Them. The Graphics Are Extremely Colourful And The Background Motions Look Realistic As They Merge In Well With The Rest Of The Scenery.
For A Start, On The Sound All The Talking Is In Japanese And It Comes Up On The Bottom Of The Screen In A Box In English. There Is Constant Music In The Background That Changes Ever So Slightly Every Level But Is The Same Basic Music. During The Game Klonoa Makes Silly Little Japanese Sounds That Make No Sense At All Just Like When You Are Doing Badly On Bust A Move.
The Game Only Lets You Go In One Straight Line On All The Levels Except For The One Or Two Where You Have To Dodge Things On Your Surfboard. When You Kill An Enemy It Will Always Return To The Place It Originated From, Via A Porthole, Because You Need To Pick Them Up To Throw Them, Sometimes More Than Once. You Start With Three Lives And When You Collect One Hundred Jewels You Get An Extra Life. Each Life Consists Of Three Hearts Which Is The Maximum You Can Get. You Have To Pick Up Monsters To Throw Them At Things And To Jump Higher. There Are Only Two Basic Buttons And They Are Jump Which Is X And Triangle And Shoot Which Is Square And Circle. If You Press Jump Twice You Will First Do A Jump And Then You Will Float For A Couple Of Seconds Using Your Ears. If You Press The Jump Button Twice While Holding A Monster You Will Do A Double Jump Then The Monster Will Be Thrown Away And Will Explode (this Is How You Reach Higher Jewels).
In Conclusion I Think That Klonoa 2 Is Quite A Good Game Even Though For The First Eight Or Nine Levels It Is A Bit Easy. But For Me I Think That It Will Be One Of Those Games That You Will Play For A Week Then Put It Away." | Graphics 11/20 Playability 33/50 | Sound 5/10 Lastability 15/20 | 64% | Last updated on 2002-01-20 and based on views after owning/playing for approx 14 days.
