This Game Is The Reason I Bought A Ps2 At Christmas And I Counted The Days Until It Was Released. Moto Gp 1 Was Fantastic And This Is A Logical Progression From That. Fantastic Graphics, fantastic Sound And A Very Real Racing Experience. I Should Know As I Raced For 10 Years.you're Every Bit As Determined Not To Let The Guy Behind You Past As In Real Life.
Complaints ? A Few.
1/ The New Tracks Are Ace But It Would Have Been Better Binning The 5 From The Original Game And Giving Us 10 New Tracks Instead. I Want Phillip Island !!!!
2/ If You Run Wide, And Onto The Dirt, You Really Don't Lose As Much Time As You Should.
3/ The Difference Between The Bikes Is A Bit Too 'marked'. For Example Gary Mccoy Has One A Few Gp's On His Red Bull Yzr, But In The Game If You Choose His Bike You Might As Well Forget
4/ You Lose Too Much Time With Wheelspin. 500's Are Wild But Not As Wild As The Game Suggests ! It.
5/ On Widescreen Mode You Lose The Bottom Of Your Rear Wheel So You Don't See Yourself Leaving 'darkies' On The Track.
Suggestions For Next One ?
1/ All New Tracks Including Phillip Island !!
2/ More Time Lost If You Run Wide
3/ Less Difference Between Each Machine
4/ A 'rider's Eyeview Option." | Graphics 11/20 Playability 43/50 | Sound 8/10 Lastability 20/20 | 82% | Last updated on 2002-03-29 and based on views after owning/playing for approx 52 days. | | | | |
| | | | | Dean Prime "This Game Is Easily The Best Game I Own. The Action Closely Resembles That Of True Racing, The Hairs On Your Shins Stand On End When Braking As If You're Being Pushed Forward By The Motion Of Braking! Not Even Gt3 Can Boast This! The Graphics Are Superb, The Bike Handles Realistically, And When Watching The Replay Just Sit Back And Watch The Real Thing With You Bashing Farings With Max And Valentino, It's A Great Feeling. Not All Of The Seasons Tracks Are Represented Though, There's A Large, But Not Full Representation Of Teams And Riders And There's No Commentary, Not That You'll Ever Have Time To Hear It Anyway! None Of These Things Detract From The Game In Any Way, It Is Intense! I'm Sure 3 Will Be Perfection Itself Amongst Racing Games." | Graphics 18/20 Playability 48/50 | Sound 9/10 Lastability 20/20 | 95% | Last updated on 2002-03-12 and based on views after owning/playing for approx 7 days. | | | | |
