Andy Bryce  "Wow.. What A Game.
This Game Is The Reason I Bought A Ps2 At Christmas And I Counted The Days Until It Was Released. Moto Gp 1 Was Fantastic And This Is A Logical Progression From That. Fantastic Graphics, fantastic Sound And A Very Real Racing Experience. I Should Know As I Raced For 10 Years.you're Every Bit As Determined Not To Let The Guy Behind You Past As In Real Life.
Complaints ? A Few.
1/ The New Tracks Are Ace But It Would Have Been Better Binning The 5 From The Original Game And Giving Us 10 New Tracks Instead. I Want Phillip Island !!!!
2/ If You Run Wide, And Onto The Dirt, You Really Don't Lose As Much Time As You Should.
3/ The Difference Between The Bikes Is A Bit Too 'marked'. For Example Gary Mccoy Has One A Few Gp's On His Red Bull Yzr, But In The Game If You Choose His Bike You Might As Well Forget
4/ You Lose Too Much Time With Wheelspin. 500's Are Wild But Not As Wild As The Game Suggests ! It.
5/ On Widescreen Mode You Lose The Bottom Of Your Rear Wheel So You Don't See Yourself Leaving 'darkies' On The Track.
Suggestions For Next One ?
1/ All New Tracks Including Phillip Island !!
2/ More Time Lost If You Run Wide
3/ Less Difference Between Each Machine
4/ A 'rider's Eyeview Option."

Dean Prime  "This Game Is Easily The Best Game I Own. The Action Closely Resembles That Of True Racing, The Hairs On Your Shins Stand On End When Braking As If You're Being Pushed Forward By The Motion Of Braking! Not Even Gt3 Can Boast This! The Graphics Are Superb, The Bike Handles Realistically, And When Watching The Replay Just Sit Back And Watch The Real Thing With You Bashing Farings With Max And Valentino, It's A Great Feeling. Not All Of The Seasons Tracks Are Represented Though, There's A Large, But Not Full Representation Of Teams And Riders And There's No Commentary, Not That You'll Ever Have Time To Hear It Anyway! None Of These Things Detract From The Game In Any Way, It Is Intense! I'm Sure 3 Will Be Perfection Itself Amongst Racing Games."

What was your overall verdict on this game:
Very Poor - an embarrassment to the console
Nothing spectacular, but still functional
Quality visuals that clearly show the power of this machine
Graphical masterpiece that is amongst the best currently available
Pushing the visual capability to it's absolute limit
This game has graphics that were never thought possible on this console

Makes little use of the CD capacity and audio hardware
Functional sounds that compliment the on-screen action
Quality atmospheric sounds that are highly effective
Music and effects that greatly enhance the overall enjoyment
Sounds like this were never thought possible on this console

PLAY-ABILITY (The way the game actually plays)
No fun to play, control is bad, gameplay lacks ideas
Offers moderate enjoyment but lacks a reason to play regularly
Quality title that has all the features you would expect
Top-notch title with nearly flawless gameplay
Little room for improvement and the best game of its type
Introduces new gameplay aspects not thought possible for this console

Wouldn't even buy for your worst enemy
Life-span would be a short rental period
Recommended purchase which should offer a weeks enjoyment
Has the potential to still be played regularly weeks from now
This will remain a popular game in your collection for months
You will enjoy playing this game occasionally even years from now
