....the Satisfaction Of Knowing Whatever Side You've Chosen To Fight This Day, American, German, Or Russian, U Have Defeated The Enemy As A Clever Tactician.
Not Just One Of The Many Other Players Of Ps One Games...no, They They Expect To Run In With Guns-a-blazing, And Could Not Fathom The Intensity And Realism This Game Provides...it's Mood Is Tense And Drawn Out, Like A Chess Game. Having To Outthink The Ps One's Enemy Tank Brigades, Gun Emplacements, Infantry And Even Bombers Is Something I Truly Didn't Think I'd See On This Game Platform...and I'm Thrilled. I've Been Playing It More Than Any Other, 'cept When I Got The Rainbow Six Titles...and This One Is Right Up There With Those In Atmosphere.
I Applaude Those Who In Ps Ones Waning Career Fought Hard Enough To Bring This Title To Life...thank You. And I Know There Are Rumors Of A Semi-sequel For This Game...bring A Few More Additions Basically To The Original Game. Now, Lets Hope They Could Put It On The Ps2 , The Terrian Of Smugglers Run, The Rain And Wind Of Mgs2, And All The Intensity Of The Original...no Fancy Soundtrack Is Neccessary, But Some Variety And More Types Of Hardware Would Be Good...maybe Some Different Interaction With The Infantry...or Some Towed Guns...i Dont Know..just Some Thoughts.

And The Graphics Do A Better-than-serviceable Job Of Putting You In The Front Lines Of Ww2--there May Be Some Pixellation, But There's Also A Lot Of Atmosphere. This Is One Of The Most Immersive Games I Have Ever Played, And A Kind Of Title I Never Expected For The Psone.
The Scope Of The Battles Is Amazing. At Times, You Feel Like You Are In One Of The Battle Scenes In Saving Private Ryan. Combat Is Very Deadly And Difficult, And The Sound Of Shells Richoceting Off Your Armor Never Fails To Unnerve. Though The Menu Interfaces And Manual Are A Bit Slipshod, I Recommend This Game Without Hesitation. I Can Only Hope That Enough Of Us Will Buy Copies To Convince The Publisher To Bring Out The Sequel And, Eventually, A Ps2 Version. Brilliant Game." | Graphics 11/20
