PS2 Review SUMMARY and SCORE
Johnny Calabrese  "I Think This Game Is Great. Its Up To You To Decide What Goes On. The Roller Coasters Are A Little Hard To Build And It Doest Explain What Raising The Fat Or The Sugar At The Ice Cream Place Does, But The Game Is Very Cute, And It Gives People Who Like Sim Games A Little Different Bit Of Taste. I Would Recommend To Simple Minded People. But No Game Beats Out Gta3"

PS2 Review SUMMARY and SCORE
Cj Rose  "Highly Addictive Game.
However There Is Not Enough Information Provided With Game On How To Accomplish The Receiving Of All The Golden Tickets Available With Each Park Island.
The Game Is Extremely Challenging When You Try To Keep All Or Most Of Your Guests Happy.

Having To Rearrange The Park After Newer Rides And Coasters Become Available Is Quite Entertaing.
Finding The "stink Bombs" Is Nearly Impossible Though."

Connor Pegg  "The Assistant Is Annoying And Even Though You Have The Option To Make Him Shut Up He Doesn't For Long - A Very Patient Hand And Some Experience With Sim City Would Be Helpful When Playing This Game - Additional Parks Add Visual Value However They Would Have Been Better Off To Add Those New Rides For One Park Paying Researchers More - It Is Not Easy To Get Started And Your Park Can Go Into The Red Pretty Quickly If You Leave The Ps2 On And Walk Away."

PS2 Review SUMMARY and SCORE
Tom Rooney  "Sim Fans Rejoice! For Being So Early In Its “life” The Ps2 Has Already Received A Nice Little Simulation Title With The Release Of Theme Park Roller Coaster.

Players Here Will Have The Opportunity To Go In And Discover What It Would Be Like To Micro Manage The Business Of Running Your Very Own Amusement Park. The Game Allows Players To Take Control Of Virtually Everything Involved With Operating Your Own Park. You Are In Control Of Staffing, Building, Construction, Funding, Ride/shop Placement…virtually Everything. Hell, You Can Even Go Into A Burger Shop And Decide How Much Fat Is Going To Be In Your Burgers.

Graphically The Game Is Nothing To Shout About For A Ps2 Title, But It Does Its Job In Portraying Life At Am Amusement Park. Kids Scurry About, Rides And Attractions Are All Fully Animated, You Have Various Weather Effects Like Rain And Snow…there Is Even A First Person View In Which You Can Stroll Through Your Park From The Viewpoint Of Your Patrons. Most Rides And Attractions Can Even Be Ridden/played By You. There Is Nothing Quite So Satisfying As Constructing Your Very Own Ultimate Roller Coaster And Then Being Able To Ride On It!

The Sound Effects Are Also Quite Notable, Delivering The “feel” Of Actually Being In The Middle Of A Bustling Park On A Busy Day. Heck, You Can Even Hear Kids Going To The Bathroom As They Struggle To Get Out A Good #2. Now That’s Some Realism That Perhaps I Could Have Done Without…but What The Heck, It Was Certainly Funny As All Hell To Listen To.

The Game Is Not Easy At First And May Prove To Be Too Intimidating To Newbies, But Once You Give It Some Time And Get Used To All Of The Particulars, You Get Into A Groove And Can Start Hammering Out Some Outrageous Looking, And Quite Successful, Amusement Parks. I Highly Recommend This Title To Sim Lovers And To Anyone Else That Wants To Try Something A Bit Different. The Game Can Become Very Addicting And The Replay Value Is Unbelievable!"
