Question 1. Why are the .hack games all $50. Answer 1. So that Bandai, which mostly makes games in Japan, can continue to release games in North America. Also, each game is still it's own game, despite the fact that the games look the same, that's because it's still part of the same game really. Question 2. Not really a question but rather a statement on what they should have done. Answer 2. Cyber Connect 2, the developer of this episodic series made the game as they went along, if they had taken the time to change the graphics, etc., etc. then you'd still be waiting for Mutation to be released. Each episode gives you about 25 hours worth of gameplay if you find most of the secrets, etc. so with 4 games that gives you about a 100 hour game which isn't too bad for titles that aren't AAA RPGs like FFX was. Conclusion - If you don't like that the game is $50 and the graphics are still the same and you don't care that you won't know the entire story of the game unless you play the entire series then don't play it anymore. .hack isn't made for the big RPG fans but rather for the .hack fans who enjoy the series and actually want to play it for the story and not for what the game looks like. If you base a game on looks alone then you'll almost always be disappointed. Well, i hope that you all enjoy posting and have fun gaming.
