    That COlin Mcrae the rally driver and his 6 yr old son have been killed in a helicopter crash in Scotland. Its just been announced on the Formula 1 coverage of belgian Grand Prix on ITV1

    I had seen that on our news page, Jim posted an article there about it.

    This is going to be felt for awhile in the racing world. I'm doubtful of them seeing it but nonetheless, sincere condolences out to the surviving members of his family.

    I heard something about this on the news er yesterday I think it was, I'm not sure.
    I thought they'd ahd survived though. Did they die in the crash or later in hospital?

    My condolences also go out to his family and friends.
    He really was one of the greats of the Rally circuit wasn't he? He will definitely be missed.
